The latest is the official release of Jaguar’s F-Type, which has been named their E-Type successor. The first picture of the car was leaked on the web, causing Jag to release an official image of the new ride, but it’ll still make its big public debut at next week’s Motor Show.

As you can tell by the photo, the F-Type borrows some design cues from last years’ C-X16 concept, while under the hood is said to be a V6 3.0-liter supercharged engine that pumps out 335 hp and 332 lb.-ft. But Jag will also offer a more powerful, supercharged V8 5.0-liter that will output somewhere around 503 hp and 542 hp.

MASERATI WILL SHOW GRANCABRIO MC AT 2012 PARIS MOTOR SHOW

Maserati will show its GranTurismo MC at this week’s Paris Motorshow and recently dropped info on their latest iteration of the GT platform, the GranCabrio MC. The convertible’s most noticeable change is in its exterior design, which has been taken from the MC Stradale coupe and is 48 mm longer than the GranCabrio’s standard and sport versions. It’s also more aggressive in appearance than the other versions with its wider front fascia.

The back end has also been reworked with the large rear spoiler that now provides even more downforce in order to keep the large MC version on the road. No info on what’s under the hood has ben released yet, but it’s assumed that it will use the same 4.7-liter Ferrari-sourced V8 as the MC coupe that pushes out 444 ponies and 376 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated six-speed automatic transmission.
