Maserati will
show its GranTurismo MC at this week’s Paris Motorshow and recently dropped
info on their latest iteration of the GT platform, the GranCabrio MC. The
convertible’s most noticeable change is in its exterior design, which has been
taken from the MC Stradale coupe and is 48 mm longer than the GranCabrio’s
standard and sport versions. It’s also more aggressive in appearance than the
other versions with its wider front fascia.
The back end
has also been reworked with the large rear spoiler that now provides even more
downforce in order to keep the large MC version on the road. No info on what’s
under the hood has ben released yet, but it’s assumed that it will use the same
4.7-liter Ferrari-sourced V8 as the MC coupe that pushes out 444 ponies and 376
lb.-ft. of torque and is mated six-speed automatic transmission. More info will
be released on the GranCabrio MC as the week goes on!
